He could see all the different greens and greys in her eyes—ash, slate, silver, fern, moss, lime, jade, and emerald—and he could have counted the freckles on her nose and cheeks if she had stayed in his vision long enough.

“Astoria?”

“I’m in Scorpius’ room,” I yelled back as I finished get him dressed.

“Ah there you are, you two ready?” Draco said walking into our son’s room.

“Yep,” I said moving the small child to sit on my hip.

I turned around to see Draco smiling at us, “what?” I asked.

“Just thinking is all,” he said moving over to us, “I must be the luckiest man in the world, to have a beautiful wife and probably one of the most well behaved kids in the world.”

I smiled, “yeah you must be lucky, to get someone as great as us.”

“Ha ha very funny,” he said, his smile never changing.

“I’m kidding love,” I said kissing him.

“I wasn’t,” he said kissing my forehead then Scorpius’.
